Mini OOTD #2: Thesis Adventures

     One of my sisters is writing her thesis for her senior year in college. As part of her research, she does store oculars on the brand she is researching about. This involves mall hoping to different parts of Metro Manila. To help her and her groupmates, I have been driving them around for the past two weekends. It's a very tiring errand because it takes a whole day but who am I to complain? I do get to window shop if the time permts me to. This weekend we went to SM Megamall, Shangri-la Plaza, Robinsons Galleria and Greenhills shopping center. :)

     When we were at Shang, I asked one of my sisters to take a photo of me at one of the mall's new wings. As you can see in the background a lot of the stores are still on-going renovations. I haven't been to this particular mall for such a long time. The last time I set foot on this very location was back in college when i was also in the process of writing my own thesis. :)

     Thesis writing is time consuming, money exhausting, and mentally draining. But I will never forget the feeling of accomplishment once I've submitted that book-bound copy made from sweat and tears. Good luck to everyone finishing their thesis papers!

Mini OOTD #1

     I want to make this mini outfit of the day post on my blog sort of a random thing. :) To start off, this is just some random day. I have this love-hate relationship with white clothing. First, it makes me look fat. Second, It's so prone to stains. That's why I'm not exactly fond of the color. 

     Why am I wearing a white dress in the photo, you ask? Well, I found this dress at the Supersale Bazaar last July and thought to myself, why not since it was made of pretty lace and it was only 350 pesos. So, yeah I took the plunge. :) I lost some weight during the time this picture was taken because I just recovered from sickness and It doesn't look too bad on my extra-sexy self if I say so myself. I kid! But really, didn't exactly add a few pounds on me. I just paired it with some brown sandals from Solemate and a necklace, et voila! I am ready for lunch. :)

Lonely Heart's Club

A post Valentine's dinner date with my closest friends. I may not be with a certain HIM, but at least my beautiful friends took his place. I had so much fun dressing up and doing all of their make-up. :) Dinner and drinks at Agave, Bonifacio High Street.

Cupcakes

During weekends, I normally hang out with my sisters. Yesterday, we went to three different locations. In the morning, we were supposed to drop by Bloggers United Bazaar held at Treston, Global City. We decided to hit Cupcakes by Sonja at Serendra instead and decided to go to the bazaar after we went to the, surprise, surprise, Forever 21 "sale" :)).

World Bazaar 2011

My sisters had to drag me to the World Bazaar 2011 held at WTC today. This is what I wore during our exhausting but fun shopping trip:

Who says you can't wear florals during a rainy day? I also had to take advantage of the weather to be able to wear my faux leather jacket once again. :D

I bought some cute stuff from the bazaar and I can't wait to feature them here on my blog. Also, I finally found some mochi balls! ^_^

 I've been looking for these everywhere. Anyway, the bazaar is still on going and there are a lot of great finds so hurry and visit WTC asap. :D

For the love of MAXI

I was browsing through Nordstrom's website just now. I got the inspiration from Blair Fowler, a Youtube beauty guru who featured this gorgeous maxi dress in a video. I was trying to look for it online (Nordstrom) but found this heaven of a dress instead:

The only problem, I cannot afford it to the life of me. :)) Well, if any of you are interested, Nordstrom is now shipping internationally. This dress is also free of shipping! If only...plugging much? :)) As of now, I'll enjoy the sight of this picture. When I find a similar dress, I'm totally grabbing one.

Outfit of the day: Busy office girl

Hey there! I haven't blogged in a while because of the lack of time and effort to actually blog. Everyday, when I arrive home, I just feel like loafing around and just do stuff on the computer. Today was no exception. I was so busy that time ran me over. I am so looking forward to the long weekend ahead! I just wanted to share what I wore to the office today. I woke up at 8 am when I was supposed to be at the office at 8:30. Fear not, I arrived on time! How did I do that you say? Well, I live approximately 5-7 minutes away from where I work. Lucky me! tee-hee. Anyway, here's what I wore:

Outfit of the day: Tribal

Hey there! I just got home from the office and decided to make an outfit post for today. :D Here's what I wore:

It's been hot out, but thankfully it's way colder in the office so I get to wear something like this.

University of the Pilippines: We Meet Again

Last Saturday, Aug. 6 was my baby sister's entrance exam at UP Diliman. We all tagged along because my other sister and I wanted to hang out at Trinoma. When we got to UP it was so traffic because of all the hopefuls that would love to get their education at one the premier schools in the Philippines. I couldn't exactly remember that time when I took my UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admissions Test), except that it was really early and the exam was so long and tiring. Needless to say, I didn't pass. :)) Anyway, that Saturday, I was so amazed at how beautiful the grounds of UP were. Wouldn't want to pass the opportunity to use the scenery as my background for that day's outfit of the day. I was wearing a very simple outfit which consists of my normal basics: a dress and a pair of flip-flops. I don't really like wearing sandals and closed shoes too often because my feet hurt/bruise easily.

After we spent a few hours, we went back to pick up my sister. We still had a few moments to kill so we just parked our car and waited. It was cold that day because it had been raining but I love me some "dirty" ice cream. :)
