Etude House Collective Haul

A new branch of Etude House opened at a mall near my home. Soon as I learned about this news, I decided to check the branch out. Just an overview of what Etude house is:

It is a Korean-based make-up store with the likes of its "predecessors," The Face Shop, Skin Food, etc. The store is so cute, decorated in motifs of baby pink and white. It literally looks like a candy store. The packaging of their cosmetics, though not present in this post, looks "good enough to eat."

Here's a sneak peak of my little haul:

My loot :)
1. Golden Ratio Face Glam in #2 Pink
This is one of the items I've recently bought from the store and also the most expensive one. I had a hard time deciding whether I should pick this up because I am not yet used to buying pricey cosmetics. I am in love with this so far. I got to use this a couple of times and it gives me a nice glow to my face. The carton has instructions as to how the product should be applied unto your face. This is actually composed of two highlighters: the cream highlighter used around the eye area and the liquid highlighter used for all-over the face or applied on the parts of your face that you want highlighted. I personally love applying this along my cheek bones and on my brow bones.

2. Proof 10 Eye Primer
I got this item for 20% off during the Etude House sale. I've heard so many good reviews about this that I had to try it for myself. I got to try it a few times now and I've got to say, I love it. I personally have oily eyelids. Although I don't put eye shadow on a regular basis, I apply this underneath my  powder foundation so that my lids would stay matte all day. This is a good, cheaper alternative for Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. :)

3. Proof 10 Auto Pencil
Another product that belongs to Etude House's Proof 10 line, it promises to be water-proof. I've been on the look-out for a good eyeliner for the longest time. I love the Revlon Colorstay one but it still smudged a little on me. I got this to give it a try. I got it in color black. I only tried it once but was not instantly impressed because the color would not transfer on my waterline. I had to smudge it on my hand first and tried to give it another go but to no avail. Even so, I am not giving up hope on this, and I will surely give it another chance.

4. Etude House Face Color Corset #1
I'm a sucker for highlighting. I purchased this during the time that I didn't want to avail of the Golden Ratio highlighter. It was all right but I found it easier to work with cream products given the type of skin I have (parts of my face are oily while some parts are just dry=combination).

5. Styling Eye Liner in White
This eyeliner is one of the first things I've purchased from Etude House. It is quite cheap if I may add, only Php128. :) For the price, it is so creamy and pigmented but it breaks off easily if you are not careful. I chose this shimmery white one for the purpose of using it on my waterline to give me an instant "i'm awake" look on days that I don't feel awake at all. :)) Sadly, it doesn't want to work for that purpose. I now mainly use this to highlight inner tear ducts. Sometimes, I use this under eye shadows.

6. Etude House eyebrow shaper and mirror
Isn't this the cutest thing? At first you'd think that this is just a tiny mirror with a purpose of...hmm, nothing? Haha. Kidding. But the mirror is so tiny that you can't actually see much from it. They are so smart to incorporate a brow shaver/shaper. I still haven't used it because it's too cute. :D

This concludes my mini haul from Etude House. I guess it turned out to be a small review as well. Hehe. Before this post comes to an end, share what your favorite Etude House items are.

Love lots,
Maple :)
